Ace investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala has acquired additional shares worth over Rs 11 crore in Delta Corp . Through a bulk deal, Jhunjhunwala on Monday purchased 12.5 lakh shares of Delta Corp at a price of Rs 91.75 apiece, the company said in a filing to the BSE. At this price, the stake would be worth about Rs 11.5 crore.
At the end of December 2014, Jhunjhunwala held 3.47 per cent stake in the company. A commercial services provider, Delta Corp operates hotels, among others. Shares of the company jumed over 10 per cent to close at Rs 98.75 on the BSE.

On February 03, 2015, at 09:20 hrs Delta Corp was quoting at Rs 102.60, up Rs 3.85, or 3.90 percent. The 52-week high of the share was Rs 112.45 and the 52-week low was Rs 77.30.
The company's trailing 12-month (TTM) EPS was at Rs 2.39 per share as per the quarter ended December 2014. The stock's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio was 42.93. The latest book value of the company is Rs 35.38 per share. At current value, the price-to-book value of the company is 2.90.
